Information we collect
- Your name, email address and newsletter preferences when you join the Play List.
- Your contact details, project brief, delivery country and optional telephone number when you request a quote.
- Photographs, names and other reference material that an adult supplies for personalised artwork or games.
- Order and customer-service information supplied through Payhip or Etsy where needed to fulfil an order or answer a question.
- Device and usage information only when you consent to optional analytics.
Why we use it
We use information to provide requested downloads, respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, fulfil contracts, maintain appropriate business records, improve the website and send marketing emails where you have consented. The relevant lawful bases are consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests, depending on the activity.
Who receives it
We use trusted service providers including Kit for newsletters, Payhip and Etsy for sales and delivery, FormSubmit for quote enquiries, Canva where an editable template is supplied, and optional Google or Pinterest measurement tools after consent. These providers process information under their own terms and may process it outside the UK using appropriate safeguards.
Photographs and portfolio use
Customer photographs and artwork references are used to create, deliver and support the commissioned product. We will not use a customer’s images or finished personalised artwork in advertising, social media or our portfolio without permission.
How long we keep it
Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe. Quote enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last conversation. Order and accounting records may be retained for up to six years where required for tax, legal or dispute purposes. Customer images are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to complete and support the order, unless you have separately permitted ongoing portfolio use. Unneeded information is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, depending on the circumstances. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link. Children’s information
Our products may be enjoyed by families and children, but purchases, mailing-list sign-ups, portrait submissions and quote requests must be made by an adult. Please do not send unnecessary personal information about a child.
